Resolution

I have been neglecting this blog so I resolved to do a post at least once a month. This month I am going to show a few pictures of what has been happening since July.

We went to Yellowstone with the Ussing Gang. It was a ton of fun. We all stayed in this huge cabin and had fun activities planned each day.

All of Ryan's family!!

Of course we had to see Old Faithful!

Here are all the kids that we tromped around Yellowstone with and slept with, eat with, and played with for 6 whole days and nights. Lets just say it will be a trip that the kids will never forget and the parents will learn from!! It really was a great trip and the kids are already asking to go back.

We got an underwater camera and had some fun with it at the pool.

Lindee

Here is the first day of school. Jenna is in 4th, Luke is a 3rd grader, and J.T. is in 1st grade. Lindee also started joy preschool with a few other women from our neighborhood.

Jenna had her 10th birthday this year. She got to have a pajama party. She invited 6 girls, ate nachos, made ice cream, had a pinata, and went to the drive in and saw SMURFS. Then I took all the girls home. I think they had a lot of fun.

Making necklaces while we wait for everyone to come.

Ryan also had his 35th birthday!

We spend Thanksgiving at Shay's house this year with lots of good food and lots of games of pinochle! We left early from Shay's house and went to Gooding to see Kristina and Chris's baby, Joe, blessed. It was a fun long weekend.

Christmas was a ton of fun. We got up Christmas morning and let the kids see what Santa brought them. Then we went to church. Then when we got home we let them open everything else. Then we had Jeff and his family over for Christmas dinner. It was a great day.

Ryans new grill
What was the best thing was that after Christmas Ryan didn't have to go back to work. He took the rest of the week off and we did something fun every day. We went roller skating for the first time with the kids, saw movies, went shopping, roast marshmellows with our new fire pit and mounted our TV to the wall (that was a huge project!!)

Roasting marshmellows. Even though it is the end of December it was 45 degrees when we were outside.

Mounting the TV. We had to cut a huge hole because the studs weren't where we needed them to be. When we cut it open there was a huge space back there where the insert for the fire place goes. Enough room for a chair and for Ryan to stand back there and hid all of the wires.

Overall we had a great year and loved breaking in our new house!
